About the Company

Our client is a very large supplier that supports the building industry. This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to join a growing organization, as the company is continuing to expand globally.

About the Opportunity  

• Accounting duties, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliation, maintenance of accounting records in conformity with ASPE, and assisting with month-end close activity
• Responsible for timely completion of P&L variance analysis on a monthly basis
• Business partnering with other business units and acting as a business advisor 
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely manner
• Assist with year-end external audit with preparation and review of all audit requirements
• Prepare monthly rent roll for all locations, maintain lease information and complete CAM reconciliations

About You

• CPA designation (or close to designation) with 5 years related work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information proficiently, develops alternative solutions
• Experience in preparing CAM reconciliation is an asset
• Strong proficiency in Excel

Salary Range
$50,000-$70,000/year
