Finance Project Manager - 24 Month Contract

About the Opportunity  

• Oversee all aspects of project management, working closely with the Director, Finance, CFO, the Program Manager and team, and key business stakeholders
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Manage Project resources and provide oversight over key tasks and responsibilities
• Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
• Lead/ facilitate working sessions with the Finance team, and ERP resources as required to re-engineer processes, and align them with ERP functionality
• Manage schedules, budget, project staffing to ensure requirements and project delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
• Provide timely updates to the CFO the Director, Finance and the Program Manager on progress on the BPR project
• Create communication plans and manage the internal communication to the Finance team for the project
• Manage scope and key risks and administer change control process for the Finance BPR Plan, including presenting change control to the CFO for approval
• Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively work with project team to identify solutions to address them in advance
• Provide backfill support to the CFO and Director, Finance to balance Project deliverables support and day to day deadlines
• Use effective change management principles, tools and techniques to gain support and buy-in

About You

• Solid accounting expertise, ideally supported by an official designations such as MBA, CA, CGA, CMA or in process for one of these would definitely be an asset in this role
• Possess at least ten years relevant experience in business process re-engineering and project management
• Have good functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft CRM, Financial Applications (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger), Field Service Systems or Project Management Software would be an asset
• Solid experience in Business Process Analysis & Design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in change management

Pay Range
$150,000-$160,000/year
