Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is accountable for planning and forecasting, reporting and analysis, business partnering and process improvement.

About the Opportunity  

• Planning/Forecasting 
  • Prepare annual plans and quarterly forecasts for operational groups
• Reporting & Analysis 
  • Prepare consolidated financial results – monthly, quarterly, year-end
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and makes recommendations to Senior Finance and Operational Management
  • Respond to internal and external client requests for ad hoc analysis
  • Operational/strategic decisions 
  • Make operational decisions (i.e. process changes)
  • Support strategic decisions by participating in steering committees, special projects, etc.
• Process Adherence /Implementation 
  • Identify and implement new ways to improve quality and efficiency of financial processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis on process gaps
  • Recommend and implement major process improvements within assigned portfolio
• Other
  • Prepare basic business cases and provide input to complex business cases

About You

• CPA designated
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of accounting systems 
• Advanced level knowledge of MS Office suite of software
• Manage and resolve complex account reconciliations
• Resolve complex accounting issues escalated from support team and make recommendations to Controllers
• Ability to prepare basic business cases and provide input for complex business cases
• Ability to make operational decisions and support strategic decisions

Salary Range
$90,000-$105,000/year
