About the Opportunity  

• Ensure timely, accurate and insightful analysis of business performance, ensuring management has full understanding of key drivers, and advise on actions to improve
• Produce regular management updates, including development of Canada management book (seeks cross-functional input into Management Book), scorecard, and other supporting reporting such as brand/customer profitability
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing Managers to challenge assumptions and preconceptions, shaping business decision making from the early stages
• Support business decision making through the provision of finance and commercial insight, challenging assumptions and preconceptions, and supported with relevant and effective analysis
• Drive better understanding of customer profitability and return on investment through provision of customer profitability data and working with Sales Management to aid understanding
• Develop Canadian submissions to corporate planning processes – monthly internal forecasts, corporate forecasts, annual and three-year plans
• Ensure accuracy of forecasts measured through achievement and supported by analysis of performance against forecast. Discusses forecast misses with relevant personnel, seeks ways to improve and build relationship with forecast owners
• Work to increase depth and accuracy of P&L forecasting through development of robust sub processes – rework, pricing, promotional spend
• Responsible for the pricing function, including accuracy of both regular and promotional pricing
• Leads, develops, coaches, and mentors subordinate staff

About You

• Bachelor's degree in commerce/finance
• CPA, CMA, or CGA
• Currently at the Manager level within the CPG space
• Strong FP&A experience

Salary Range
$100,000 - $110,000/year
