ERP Manager (Dynamics AX)

We are looking for a manager that will oversee the ERP team (Dynamics AX) for this industry leader with 5,000+ staff. The ERP Manager coordinates all ERP development projects and support, and sets measurable goals and deadlines for these projects to ensure the project is completed successfully. This is a hands-on leadership position within the MIS department engaging in architectural and design decisions, release and change management as well as establishing investment plans and roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategy. The position reports to the Director of IT. 

The ERP Manager will be responsible for the Dynamics AX application development lifecycle and for delivering application solutions that meet the needs of the business (utilizing both internal and external resources). This position will interact with leaders from IT, Finance and Operations in order to assess application needs and set the strategy for the application architecture.

About the Opportunity

• Oversee the application development lifecycle and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of that process as it relates to Dynamics AX
• Establish, grow and leverage relationships with solution providers and other external partners
• Establish relationships with business and IT leaders to understand the strategic direction of the enterprise
• Work closely with the IT infrastructure team to monitor the performance and uptime of the ERP system
• Assist in the detailed design of system integration to and from MS Dynamics AX
• Develop the capacity of internal IT resources by identifying training and providing leadership and mentoring
• Provide guidance in understanding the business processes and operation

About You

• Bachelor Degree in business or computer science required or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of deep MS Dynamics AX experience is a must - implementations, support, business analysis, architecture, etc.
• Proven experience managing a team of 5+ developers and/or business analysts and PMs
• Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, finance and other related business process
• Ability to identify, plan, communicate and execute projects from conception to completion
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all organizational levels
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required, including: project management, process flow, requirements/gap analysis, and technical documentation
• Must be able to manage a diverse team, both onsite and remote

Pay Range
$115,000- $130,000/year
