ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED TECHNOLOGY LEADER? Our client is seeking someone with extensive experience managing technical teams to join them as Director of Technology. 

Director of Technology

We are looking for an experienced Director-level leader to manage a 20 person technical team responsible for supporting a mature but still very much growing Retail/Distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing all of Technology (infrastructure and applications) for midsize to large companies, preferably in the distribution/logistics/retail verticals.

About the Opportunity

• Drive achievement of corporate objectives through timely infrastructure support and ongoing improvement of the ERP/EDI/CRM/BI/web/mobile environments 
• Maintain industry vendor/partner relationships and assist in creation and implementation of strategic direction
• Responsible for quality, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and SLA product commitments across all IT services
• Develop, establish, monitor and evaluate measurable objectives and KPIs across the teams
• Communicate strategy that informs all employees of the corporate strategies to your teams
• Provide accurate and timely status reports, reporting on disposition of projects and customer support

About You

• Experience 'owning' and driving the strategy and implementation for supported technologies and environments, making sure IT infrastructure and applications drive business goals
• Experience managing technical teams of 15+
• Strong understanding and experience delivering solutions and maintaining ERP/CRM/BI/web/mobile applications and systems
• Proven experience delivering and supporting effective Technology solutions for Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc. 
• Working experience in the distribution/logistics/retail verticals is preferred
• Must have previously demonstrated hands-on IT experience and success managing technical teams 
• Experience with IT procurement and vendor relationship management preferred
• ITIL, PMP certifications preferred

Pay Range
$130,000-$140,000/year
