About the Company

Our client is a growing private organization that is looking for a hands-on Director of Finance to join their team. This Director manages the financial and administrative functions of the corporation and is also responsible for the operational activities of the subsidiaries, under the control of the executives and managers.

About the Opportunity  

• Finance functions: Directing the functions of Treasury, Accounting, Budgeting, Taxation which includes:
  • Control activities affecting the working capital of the companies
  • Establishment of accounting principles and practices
  • Preparation of annual budgets
  • Control activities to ensure compliance with taxation matters, direct and indirect
  • Responsible for the production of all financial statements produced for internal and external purposes
  • Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to effect adequate controls and measurement of activities of the organization
  • Provide for adequate insurance coverage for the company’s assets and employ practices to maximize returns on assets
• Contract Administration: Direct activities to ensure timely execution of contracts
• Administrative and Personnel matters: Direct and co-ordinate a broad range of staff and service functions that provide support, service and assistance to the organization

About You

• Accounting designation
• Strong leadership and management experience
• Strong operations experience

Salary Range
$100,000-$130,000/year
