About the Company

Our client, a large publicly traded global asset company, is hiring a Director of Finance. They have been in operation for over a century, and have gained clients in North and South America, Australia and Europe. As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are looking for a dedicated professional to join the team at their downtown office. 

About the Opportunity  

• Partner effectively with both the platform and operating unit leadership teams to provide timely, high-quality financial reporting and analysis to enable sound decision-making (e.g. gross margin, operating expenses, capital utilization, etc.)
• Provide support and advice regarding system implementations, financial planning and budgeted, post-acquisition business integration and other large change programs
• Prepare business planning and forecast processes with an emphasis on developing high quality forecasts with a thorough understanding of associated risks and opportunities
• Track and analyze performance against the financial plan, identifying root cause for variance and establishing action plans as needed to ensure target performance is achieved
• Provide a suite of insightful reporting, with a standard hierarchy, linked to the business strategy on business performance, ensuring KPIs are tracked

About You

• CPA, CA
• Ideally has experience in the resource sector (mining, oil and gas, utility, or equivalent)
• Senior Manager from a Big 4 firm or equivalent from industry

Salary Range
$130,000 - $150,000/year
