Credit Service Coordinator – 3 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Provide a high level of support and maintenance to dealers
  • Respond to and resolve service issues and requests
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of auto-underwriting and internal reporting
  • Act as the contact for dealers, area representatives and internal staff requiring advice on customized finance structures (e.g. irregular repayment structures, pause periods, low deposits, makeweight security, subsidy issues, unusual equipment, etc.)
  • Evaluate/approve finance structures (e.g. interest and amortization schedules and finance quotes) within company guidelines and authority levels set for this position
  • Participate as an expert user in the development of internal processing systems
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with dealers and others specific to position
  • Train area sales managers and internal staff on appropriate system use
  • Support the training for dealer credit coordinators
  • Respond to dealers and area representatives on complex questions concerning financial documentation and operating the internal processing system
  • Underwrite/approve credit requests within company guidelines and within authority levels set for this position

About You

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in credit adjudication or underwriting
  • Previous experience in a customer service role supporting vendors/dealers/partners is an asset
  • University or college education in a related discipline
  • Enrolment in a finance or accounting designation is an asset
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills, proficient with full Microsoft Office suite
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range
$17-$18/hour
