About the Opportunity  

• Responsible for financial reviews and variance analysis for corporate entities, partnerships, joint ventures, trusts and development projects managed
• Responsible for accurate completion of year-end, and budget reports
• Assist and co-ordinate the year-end audits and working papers for various legal entities assigned
• Record transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, development funding and research, and apply the proper accounting solution
• Assist with standardized reporting, policies and procedures and systems to support a global asset management platform
• Ensure consistent adherence of accounting standards, principles, policies and procedures in accordance with ASPE

About You

• University Degree or College degree in Accounting or Finance
• Completed or in final stage of CPA (CMA, CGA, CA)
• Experience with full disclosure financial reporting and consolidation
• At least 3 years of experience in Financial Accounting
• Real Estate Accounting experience required
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good knowledge of the real estate industry; commercial and residential homebuilding experience preferred
• Strong system skills (Caseware, Excel, Word, and Newstar) required

Salary Range
$60,000-$73,000/year
