Our client is looking for an established CPA, CA to join their team.

Controller/Director of Finance

About the Company

The Controller is a strategic, results driven leader who is responsible for overseeing all functional areas of the accounting department while maintaining an organizational overview of all budgets and expenditures. This position will also execute and provide accurate and timely support for all financial reporting.

About the Opportunity  

• Responsible for reporting on a period, quarterly and annual basis
• Policy and practice adherence while also ensuring IFRS compliance
• Identify and implement processes that increase efficiency and/or reduce cost
• Oversee all accounting functions, including month end close, reserves, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, etc.
• Acts as the main liaison with all external auditors
• Understand the internal impact of changing external environmental factors
• Accountable for the overall engagement, productivity, turnover and bench strength of the team
• Work in a collaborative and constructive manner with team and cross functional partners

About You

• Professional accounting designation with CA preferred
• At least 10 years of management experience with increasing leadership roles,
• Leading large teams 
• At least five years of experience working in external financial reporting 

Salary Range
$140,000-$160,000/year
