About the Company

Our client, a very prominent and profitable manufacturing operation, is hiring a new Controller to work closely with the production site's General Manager and ensure sound management and financial reporting.

This role requires a dynamic professional who is an expert in SAP to collaborate daily with the various production managers, ensuring they have financial insight into their production performance. The Controller needs to have comprehensive experience in both costing and financial reporting to succeed in this role.

This production site is one of the most visible and profitable in the company. As a result this role will get a lot of exposure to this organization's senior leadership team. About the Opportunity  

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will have the following main functions:

• Prepare monthly and interpret the financial statements and the budget
• Produce extensive variance commentary to report to plant management
• Ensure that SOX compliance is in place
• Maintain and control costing, KPIs and forecasting
• Play an active role in the daily operations in order to guide production and inventory management
• Supervise payroll function and provide support for salary review and profit sharing
  process
• Prepare and present monthly sales, financial results and production analysis
• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end responsibilities
• Reconcile various ledger accounts

About You

• CPA, CMA, CA or CGA 
• Minimum of 5 years as a Senior Financial Analyst, working in a manufacturing environment 
• Preference for SAP super users 

Salary Range
$80,000 - $85,000/year
