About the Opportunity  

• Oversight of the overall capital expenditure program, including development of policies and procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
• Prepare reporting for capital expenditure program and analyze results to identify project overruns
• Support the asset management and capital project team in the management of the capital expenditure program, and develop best practice capital accounting and internal control procedures
• Support and perform capital planning and analysis as required
• Assist with external audit and interim reviews as necessary
• Responsible to ensure the maintenance of a robust, efficient and effective reporting framework and educate relevant contributors and stakeholders
• Perform responsibilities in compliance with internal control environment on an ongoing basis, monitoring and reviewing processes and procedures, and recommend changes as appropriate to improve internal controls and/or efficiencies
• Willingness to work overtime during reporting peak periods

About You

• CPA, CA
• 2-3 years of industry capital projects finance experience in the construction, real estate, or mining sectors
• Experience working for a larger audit firm before moving to industry

Salary Range
$110,000-$120,000/year
