INDUSTRY LEADER SEEKING BUSINESS CONSULTANT FOR EXCITING CONTRACT ROLE. Our client is looking for a designated professional to fill a 3 year contract with the potential to extend.

Business Consultant, IFRS Implementation – 3 Year Contract

Our client is sourcing for a Business Consultant to assist with IFRS project.  The ideal candidate would have CPA, CA designation and work experience from an Insurance organization.

About the Opportunity  

  • Research latest IFRS developments (17, 16, 9, 15); and prepare position papers
  • Financial modeling; perform analytics to assess the financial statement impact
  • Provide accurate and timely information for reporting
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close process
  • Deliver insightful and timely management information and analysis to the executive team
  • Maintain internal control environment to ensure compliance with internal, external and audits

About You

  • CPA, CA (ideally manager level)
  • Insurance background is essential
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with accounting, regulatory and taxation issues 
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with policies 
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure while ensuring accuracy and completeness of information 
  • Demonstrated people management and development skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
