Business Analyst – Process Improvement

About the Opportunity

Throughout this role, you will work with project requirements and process improvement initiatives across the organization, not only Technology or Digital.

  • Gather stakeholders' requirements for solutions, and translate them to functional and technical specification documents 
  • Obtain an understanding of current processes by seeking input from a variety of sources including, written procedures, documents and interviews with employees from various departments
  • Produce use cases and test plans from elicited and documented business requirements, driving the quality assurance process
  • Analyze the process documentation, models, and flow charts holistically to identify areas for improvement, while considering the impact of changes on the people, strategy, systems and business operations
  • Work closely with business and partners to identify/analyze core business processes, requirements and workflows
  • Document future state processes, including both manual and automated; using visual models, flow charts and written narrative that adhere to standards
  • Perform gap and root cause analyses for organization-wide end-to-end process flows

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or digital technology discipline
  • 10+ years in a Business Analysis and/or Process Improvement role(s)
  • Six Sigma certification a must; PMP or CBAP or ITIL preferred
  • Proven experience in process analysis and re-engineering - Technology and other operational areas (e.g. Marketing, Digital, Operations, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SLDC and implementation projects (e.g. ERP/CRM) and/or mobile/web/digital/cloud projects/initiatives
  • Advanced understanding of root cause analysis and process improvement concepts, methods and techniques
  • Ability to break down complex processes and explain them visually and in detail
  • Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio

Pay Range
$110,000-$120,000/year
