Business Analyst – Finance – 12 Month Contract

About the Opportunity  

• Interview business process stakeholders (Finance and Operations) to understand existing process steps
• Assist the Finance BPR Project Manager in completing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) documentation for finance processes
• Work with Finance team to implement Process Improvement Opportunities
• Develop detailed test scripts, test cases/ scenarios for system testing
• Document standard operating procedures and development of Training Materials for training sessions and ongoing user reference
• Backfill support for general finance deliverables as required to ensure Finance Subject Matter Experts are available to the Program when needed

About You

• Finance designation
• 5+ years’ experience in areas such as cost accounting, planning, budgeting, management reporting and cash management
• Finance process improvement experience, in the areas noted above including involvement in system implementation and requirements gathering
• Experience designing reports and BI requirements as well as identifying opportunities to streamline reports
• Internal controls background to support documentation of risks and controls
• Manufacturing or capital-intensive industry background
