ARE YOU A BUSINESS ANALYST/CONSULTANT LOOKING TO TAKE ON A NEW CHALLENGE? Our client is looking for an individual to assist them with the implementation of a new investment accounting system.

Business Analyst/Consultant – 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity  

  • Perform complex, regular and ad hoc analysis and/or reporting and communicate results (clear and reliable conclusions, tendencies and variance analysis) in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines, accounting and industry standards
  • Evaluate, recommend and develop tools, practices and controls that increase operational efficiency and quality of information to be implemented into the team operations 
  • Ensure your own workload is adequately planned and scheduled to meet deadlines and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Provide guidance to team members 
  • Investigate trends and irregularities to identify causes, resolve issues/situations and, for more complex issues, develop options to be assessed by management and project colleagues 
  • Training and documentation will be an essential delivery throughout the project 
  • Provide timely information to colleagues
  • Identify, implement and maintain controls to mitigate financial and operational risks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies 
  • Can adequately represent the team project meetings 
  • Work with the project team on quality assurance and testing of implementation results 
  • Work with the project team in providing guidance and making recommendations throughout the project 
  • Provide periodic documented status on each of the work streams to management 

About You

  • Must have experience with Simcorp Dimension, ideally having worked on a past implementation or as a strong end-user
  • Experience in a fund accounting environment
  • Good understanding of the financial services industry, in particular investment funds and/or insurance funds 
  • Relevant experience in similar implementation projects a must

Pay Range
$40/hour
