Bookkeeper - 3 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Post sundry (non-recurring or rare) disbursements/expenses
• Open files
• Cut cheques
• Approve and post accounts including uploading of bank software (Tymetrix) accounts
• Post accounts payable – client related charges
• Input close file numbers into Lighthouse
• Write off accounts receivable
• Photocopying and scanning

Other ad hoc duties which could include assisting with:

• Handling billings
• Trust cheques
• Bank reconciliations
• Running reports
• Special projects
• Preparing financial statements

About You

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or full cycle transactional accounting experience
• Accounting background or education
• Strong communication skills
• Experience within law firms or professional services an asset

Pay Range
$18-$22/hour
