ARE YOU A BOOKKEEPER SEEKING AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR A GLOBAL FIRM? Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper for a full-time roll.

About the Opportunity

  • Summarize and organize financial documentation ranging from financial statements, invoices, bank statements, personal/corporate tax returns, etc.
  • Efficiently perform administrative tasks, including reviews of reports and calculations, formatting of schedules/letters/reports, and other ad hoc duties
  • Ensure numerical and administrative accuracy of reports which may be issued in the context of legal disputes, insurance claims, fraud investigations, etc.
  • Liaise with clients, claimants and legal representatives to request and/or follow-up on information required
  • Meet appropriate time budget and deadlines as expected per file

About You  

  • Relevant experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, accounting, and/or work on excel spreadsheets summarizing large volumes of data
  • Experience in a support function at an accounting firm would be an asset
  • Ability to read and extrapolate data from tax returns and financial statements would be an asset
  • Superior attention to detail, as the successful candidate will be proofreading/finalizing reports that may be reviewed in court/legal disputes
  • Proficient with formatting and summarizing data in Microsoft Office (particularly in Excel & Word)
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Aptitude to work in a team environment, as well as independently

Salary Range
$40,000 - $55,000/year
