About the Opportunity

  • Oversee and process billings including the correction of invoices
  • Oversee all Credit Management functions
  • Prepare reviews of customer accounts and communicate concerns to the Finance team
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Oversee the collection process and deal directly with problematic accounts
  • Liaise with clients including participating in meetings pertaining to billings, pricing, and collections
  • Review and evaluate recommendations from internal and external audit reports and prepare responses
  • Liaise with audit personnel to clarify audit concerns and information requirements
  • Analyze current accounting practices and procedures and make recommendations
  • Revise and implement accounting systems, related interfaces, and records
  • Provide system support and maintenance
  • Provide information, education, and training to employees on business processes and on the use of computer systems as a tool to facilitate these tasks
  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable Clerk(s)
  • Provide verbal and written reports to supervisor, customers, and senior analysts
  • Calculate cash flow analysis pertaining to accounts receivable activities
  • Create computer system processes to manage incoming Purchase Orders for general use
  • Perform other duties as required

About You  

  • Completion of a 4-year university education in business, accounting or equivalent
  • Additional courses in current SAP (ECC6 with EnP7) leading to certification preferred
  • At least 6 years related experience including:
    • At least 3 years’ experience supervising a team, liaising with external customers, overseeing credit management, and processing billings
    • At least 4 years’ recent experience using current SAP (ECC6 with EnP7) FI/CO (including AR), FI/CO PS, SD (Billing and Contract Management), and MM modules
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Additional knowledge with Oncore, Ariba and Taulia systems an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Salary Range
$55,000 - $80,000/year
