Billing Representative - 12 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Ensure the accurate reconciliation of account transactions and the processing of policy payments in accordance with departmental guidelines and corporate standards to provide quality customer service
• Ensure that policy balances are up to date, accurate, and in accordance with corporate policy to maximize account revenues
• Liaise and follow up with brokers, underwriters and/or insureds to provide guidance and information, resolve issues, and assist in the resolution of outstanding or unreconciled premiums, to achieve customer service objectives, and meet departmental and corporate standards
• Performs other duties and administrative tasks

About You

• High school diploma and post-secondary accounting courses or College diploma, accounting concentration preferred
• Two or more years of related experience, an equivalent level of education/experience may be considered
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software in a Windows environment. Math skills to perform basic calculations.
• Technical ability, ability to learn, results oriented, organization and planning, policy and procedures, team player, spoken communications, written communications and service oriented

Pay Range
$18-$20/hour
