Billing Coordinator – 12 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Setup and maintain billing files and documents to support invoices
  • Prepare invoices in a timely and efficient manner that is in compliance with the company’s policies
  • Manage a portfolio of projects and clients to ensure the highest level of billing service
  • Liaise with Project Delivery Team, administrators, etc. to address issues and concerns on invoices
  • Prepare drafts and provide corrections where necessary under instruction from the Project Delivery Team
  • Understand the commercial and billing terms of a contract to ensure efficient delivery of invoices to the client
  • Develop a billing partner relationship with operations and minimize their involvement in the invoice process and distribution so that they are only involved in the final review and sign-off
  • Conduct billing reconciliations and generate summary reports for operations and management as required
  • Assess and recommend billing process improvements to the Project Delivery Team and Finance that maximize our ability to issue a bill as quickly as possible
  • Understand the organization’s DSO metric and how the billing cycle affects it
  • Develop a "client service attitude" and promptly address all billing issues and requests by the Project Delivery Team

About You

  • 3-5 years of billings experience
  • Professional experience with an engineering background is an asset
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook

Pay Range
$17-$18/hour
