Bilingual Project Control Officer - 6 Month Contract

Our client is hiring a Bilingual Project Control Officer. If you are passionate about moving projects along, having visibility into all of the organization’s current and upcoming project pipeline, and playing a key role in a project’s success, then this is a role you will not want to miss out on!

About the Opportunity

  • In this role you will be required to quickly understanding the client’s methodologies, best practices and project life cycle. On a daily basis you will coordinate between Sales, PMO and Resource Planning to ensure that all project tasks our clearly outlined and defined. You will manage all data being entered into the project tracking system while maintaining and distributing regular daily and as needed updates to the entire project team.

About You

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator/Project Control Officer
  • Excellent verbal (English/French) communication skills
  • Is extremely organized
  • Is fluent in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Can create and track action logs and provide copies upon request
  • Proven skills at problem solving and being proactive
  • Can learn new systems, processes and concepts quickly
  • Is a team player, works well within a team environment related to project execution and supporting back office processes
  • Is comfortable working under pressure and setting and meeting commitment dates
  • Effective communication skills both to peers and to the management level
  • Uses good judgment and can make decisions quickly and independently
  • Experience organizing meetings and meeting agendas
  • Excellent documentation along with superior written communication skills
  • Can manage small projects independently, including being client facing
  • Can multi-task and manage multiple work packages
  • Excellent customer service approach and consultative skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and detailed oriented
  • Experience taking minutes at meetings and minute distribution
  • Experience with follow-up on action items across client and internal stakeholders
  • Experience distributing project status reports and dashboards
  • Has experience supporting multiple Project Managers and projects
