DYNAMIC COMPANY LOOKING FOR BILINGUAL ACCOUNTING AND OFFICE CLERK. Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Accounting and Office Clerk that wants to take their career to the next level.
Bilingual Accounting and Office Clerk
About the Opportunity
Accounting
- Process daily batches of checks, bank transfer and credit card payments from customers
- Prepare journals of monthly credit card transactions
- Enter vendors’ invoices
- Handle petty cash
- Maintain an orderly filing system
Inventory
- Process order entries and invoices to customers
- Create purchase requisitions and reconcile them with vendors’ invoices
General Office Management
- Order office supplies and stationaries, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and team lunches when required
- Answer incoming telephone calls and greet walk-in visitors
- Prepare the meeting room and manage meeting room calendars when required
- Process all regular incoming and outgoing mail
- Perform general office maintenance such as watering the plants and be the contact person for the HP and Canon copiers, Pitney Bowes mailing system and other office machines
- Provide administrative and general filing assistance to the team upon request and based on overall workload and priorities
Collection
- Process customer payments using the credit card merchant terminal
- Make collection calls based on overall workload and priorities
About You
- Office general administration experience, preferably coupled to an accounting/bookkeeping
- Experience using accounting software
- Bilingualism
- Strong Excel and Word abilities required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a small company environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Salary Range
$40,000 - $42,000/year
