About the Company

Our client, a mid-sized public accounting firm that has been in business for more than 20 years with a stable and secure client base, is looking for an up-and-coming partner that wants to join the Firm and take over a book of business for a retiring partner.

About the Opportunity  

• Manage the accounting and tax service needs of a portfolio of small and medium sized private clients across a range of industry sectors
• Manage the engagement process from initial scheduling and planning through to client review and financial statement sign off
• Meet with clients regarding financial statements, other business matters and engagement issues
• Provide journal entry and account reconciliation guidance to clients
• Support on the personal and corporate tax filing for many of these clients
• Discuss proposed time budgets with partners and assign engagement budgets to staff
• Prepare draft client billings
• Manage relationships and work flow with a large volume of valued clients

About You

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation
• 8-10 years of progressive public accounting firm experience, specifically focused on working with small and mid-sized private clients
• Must have solid corporate and personal tax experience
• Comfort level working closely with a large group of small and mid-sized private clients

Salary Range
$230,000 - $240,000/year
