About the Opportunity  

  • Support with the Internal Controls group to project manage the ICFR program, providing input and recommendations as required
  • Co-manage testing of design and operating effectiveness of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, providing quality and timely reporting to management
  • Participate in the planning, development and review of audit scope and procedures for individual engagements to ensure they are executed to high standard of quality, providing stakeholders with root cause value added recommendations
  • Support the execution of multiple engagements at a time, providing leadership and guidance to meet deadlines and ensure a high degree of quality work
  • Follow-up with the appropriate personnel to ensure audit findings and recommendations are addressed on a timely basis
  • Play a significant role in aligning the department with enterprise-wide initiatives with respect to planning, organizing, managing and monitoring of Internal Audit operations, including collaborative strategies and audit engagement methodology
  • Help ensure that team members are appropriately utilized and challenged in their roles
  • Support the professional development of Internal Audit staff and ensure their skills complement the current and future requirements of the department
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the annual operating budget for the department

About You

  • CPA
  • CIA is an asset
  • Construction, Manufacturing, Mining, or Energy sector experience is an asset

Salary Range
$115,000-$130,000/year
