About the Opportunity

• Advise on all strategic planning and road-mapping as it relates to the lifecycle of enterprise applications for the organization
• Act as a senior member of the Application team to select/configure/deploy all applications that run in the environment - computer OS, mobile phone or tablet OS, server OS and applications - Exchange, AD, SharePoint; as well as common user applications – Office365, SharePoint, CRM/ERP applications, document management systems, etc.
• Act as the 'right-hand' to the Director in all application architecture-related matters
• Participate on multi-disciplinary teams to deliver technology projects, representing the Application team
• Manage integration and development of enterprise applications
• Ensure compatibility of applications/OS/hardware/vendors throughout application lifecycle
• Ensure all process, procedures, documentation are properly delivered for all applications
• Act as the SME on emerging technologies as they relate to application architecture and delivery in the enterprise

About You

• Degree or diploma in computer science or related field
• SME level understanding of deployment and support of Microsoft server applications - Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, AppSense, SharePoint, etc.
• SME level understanding of Microsoft client-side applications - Windows (desktop/laptop/mobile), Office 2010+ (O365 preferred), SharePoint, Linq, etc.
• Expert understanding of build vs buy analysis and selection, configuration and deployment of large applications (ERP, CRM, document management, collaboration, etc.)
• Expert understanding of custom application development and integration
• Excellent knowledge of the general application lifecycle - selection, configuration, packaging and deployment, support, migrations, upgrades, decommissioning, etc.
• Experience with application deployment in varieties of mediums - desktop, virtual, remote, thin client, mobile, etc.
• Expert understanding of ITIL, asset management, change management
• Superior communication skills and a team-oriented, collaborative orientation

Pay Range
$100,000 – 105,000/year
