Accounts Receivable Specialist - 12 Month Contract

Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to cover a 12 month maternity leave. 

About the Opportunity

• Prepares and processes A/R billing, mailing and e-mailing invoices
• Prepares and processes Proforma Invoices in Sage order-entry module, reviews orders, collects deposits for custom orders
• Oversees Accounting Clerk framing order entries, checks customers purchase orders, payment terms, and taxes
• Runs day-end reports
• Processes credit cards, prepares daily bank deposit books
• Runs Aged Trial Balance, and analyses overdue accounts
• Places collection calls, handles and resolves AR issues
• Helps with customers credit checks, prepares credit application documents and credit check responses for managers’ review
• Reconciles accounts
• Other duties as required

About You

• 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures, focused on Accounts Receivable
• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software (Sage)
• Accuracy and attention to detail

Pay Range
$19-$22/hour
