Accounts Receivable Clerk
About the Opportunity
- Performs billing duties, including preparation of billings
- Review of billing with individual branches
- Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of billing invoices and transfer to Financial Reporting system
- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
- Serve as a primary customer contact for billings
- Work closely with other Finance Team members to maintain the integrity of all financial operations
- Post and reconcile customer payments to general ledgers
- Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate billing records
- Investigate collection problems and advise customers on corporate billing policies and procedures
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Make arrangements for payment of outstanding and late accounts; investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions
About You
- 3-5 years full cycle AR (billing, cash apps, collections/customer service) or junior profile with 1-2 years general accounting experience
- Investigate and understand issues, resolve with minimal guidance
- Experience in the healthcare industry is an asset
- Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Hardworking, detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Great Plains is an asset
Salary Range
$40,000 - $45,000/year
