Accounts Payable Clerk - 3 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Process invoices by performing tasks such as matching and verifying payment amounts
• Ensure supplier invoices have been properly approved for payment
• Accurate and efficient data input adhering to deadlines/timelines
• Answer inquiries from external and internal stakeholders
• Accurately file all processed invoices and matching payment documentation 
• Ad hoc duties as per manager

About You

• College or university degree in accounting or a combination of relevant work experience and education
• General understanding of basic accounting knowledge coupled with prior experience working in AP is preferred
• Working experience with large ERP system; JD Edwards is an asset but not a requirement 
• Good computer skills with experience in MS Office, especially Word and Excel and any accounting packages
• Data entry experience with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication and presentation skills 

Pay Range
$18-$19/hour
