Our client is a fantastic company located in the north end of Toronto. They are hiring a data-driven Accounting Reporting Manager who will be very involved in planning, forecasting and business partnering. As the Accounting Reporting Manager, you will manage teams and make a direct impact on the company’s bottom line by improving daily processes. About the Opportunity
- This role will be responsible for being the Project Finance Lead and for providing support in all areas of project accounting and project administration, billing and project setup/closeout
- Review revenue recognition using percentage of completion method of accounting to ensure accuracy
- Reporting of the month-end review package, including analysis of unbilled revenues by project, region, and new orders and backlog reporting
- Assist in the project setup process, including verifying client work authorizations, uploading budget funding approvals, syncing projects, etc.
- Assist in the project closeout process, including verifying correct management fees billed to client, purchase orders closed out, etc.
About You
- Completed university degree in business administration
- CPA Designation (in process is okay)
- 4+ years project accounting and project administration experience
- Knowledge of project accounting, project billing, project setup/closeout, timesheet allocation
Salary Range
$70,000 - $75,000/year
