About the Company
The role is highly focused on internal reporting. You will be primarily responsible for the G/L and ensuring a high level of integrity with respect to the financial statements. You will work with the FP&A Manager to comment on Budget Vs. Actual. You will also have a lot of opportunity to learn about the business as you will have interaction with various parts of the organization. 

Initially this will be a stand-alone role, but you are being supported by a Finance team in Europe which will execute on most G/L transactions, including journal entries. You will need to assess accuracy, etc. and work with that team to ensure control. 

About the Opportunity  

• Assist with completion of timely and accurate financial statements to support decision making
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and detailed account analyses. Identify account misstatements and courses of action to correct
• Prepare the financial statements and reporting
• Assist with the company’s forecasting and budget process
• Formulate, recommend and implement fiscal procedures and controls
• Assist with IFRS and external audits
• Manage relationship with outside tax accountants, CRA and state audits
• Continue to review policies and procedures to maintain and to enforce internal controls

About You

• The role requires you to be a CPA
• Must have worked with SAP in a CPG or a distribution environment
   

Salary Range
$85,000-$100,000/year
