Accounting Analyst - 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Function accurately and efficiently at an advanced level in both ACCPAC and QuickBooks accounting software
• Perform full cycle accounting procedures through month-end and year-end reporting including budget preparation and variance analysis
• Facilitate external audits year round
• Write letters, reports and other correspondence; specifically
  • Assessing and writing said financial reports (generally ranging from 3-8 pages; will include full-written sentences, graphs, statements, numbers, tables)
  • Maintain departmental files and records, including correspondence, data processing, faxing, scanning and photocopying
• Assist CFO in other areas as assigned; will include some admin duties

About You

• Comprehensive working experience in ACCPAC and QuickBooks
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or greater
• Very strong computer skills; including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Minimum of 5-7 years accounting work experience including AP, AR, GL transactions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience analyzing financial statements and preparing financial reports

Pay Range
$25-$30/hour
