Accounting Administrator, IT Division – 12 Month Contract
About the Opportunity
- Schedule meetings and monitor/maintain calendar, facilitate catering orders and other required meeting resources
- Coordinate travel arrangements on request
- Review invoices and other expense items, submit to Finance for payment with the correct coding for the budget
- Track expenses for various subsidiaries and projects to log against the budget
- Issue purchase orders and service requests for subsidiaries
- Review A/R report from Finance department for accuracy monthly, prepare and distribute A/R invoices to the subsidiaries
- Record and deposit cheques and cash at the bank, as well as maintain bank deposit book
- Take minutes at quarterly department meetings and distribute
- Complete cash expense reports
- Point of contact for billing related inquiries, invoice disputes, and general information for internal and external companies, departments, clients, and vendors
- Log corporate VISA credit card expenses and maintain the receipts
- Assist with year-end reconciliation
- Maintain electronic version of vendor agreement file
About You
- 2-3 years of administration/office experience
- High level of proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications
- High level of initiative, results and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven organizational and time-management skills with an ability to multi-task
- High level of professionalism, maturity, confidence and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable with a good sense of judgment
Pay Range
$45,000-$55,000/year
