Accountant - 6 Week Contract

About the Opportunity

• Supervise accounts payable and receivable
• Review and maintain all accounts
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements 
• Take care of bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
• Reconcile CAD and USD credit cards
• Prepare GST/ QST reports
• Provide various financial analyses and reporting
• Participate in budgeting
• Set up accounting software (i.e. QBO)
• Review and maintain all CAD and USD accounts
• Revise QST (Quebec tax) to HST (Prepare GST/ HST reports)

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 
• 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper
• Possess an excellent understanding of Excel and Accounting Softwares including Quick Books
• Strategic, team-oriented, independent, and detail-oriented individual

Pay Range
$20-$25/hour
