Accountant - 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Review and verify invoices and cheque requests, prepare cheque runs
• Process expense reports, prepare and process electronic transfers and payments   
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions, prepare analysis of accounts
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Prepared month-end working papers and external financial statements to meet filing deadlines
• Prepare quarterly budgeting and forecasting reports for management
• Assist with month and quarter-end closing

About You

• 3-5 years of full cycle accounting experience, including budgeting and forecasting
• CPA enrolment is a strong asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Pro
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Asset management sector experience is a very strong asset
• Have to have the ability to hit the ground running with minimal training

Pay Range
$25-$28/hour
