LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT. Our client is looking to fill a 3 month contract opportunity.

Accountant – 3 Month Contract

Our client is sourcing for an Accountant for a three month contract with the potential for extension.  

About the Opportunity  

• Responsible for booking or reviewing financial transactions using JD Edwards
• Responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling bank statements and other accounts, while maintaining the general ledger and preparing supporting documents
• Performing financial analysis for hedge transactions
• Providing analysis or explanations on transactions booked by the Shared Services group
• Assisting with the preparation of month-end binders for auditing purposes
• Monitoring inter-company transactions and balancing inter-company accounts
• Assisting in the review of payroll transactions
• Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting requests

About You

• Accounting designation or in the process of completing a designation
• Five plus years of accounting experience
• Excellent experience with bank reconciliations; payroll transactions is an asset
• Experience with hedge accounting is an asset
• Manufacturing experience is an asset
• Large ERP experience; JD Edwards is an asset
• Advanced Excel skills

Salary Range

$35/hour
