AML Analyst - 6 Month Contract

The High Risk team periodically reviews the bank’s customers to determine any material changes in their profiles. They also complete enhanced due diligence in accordance to AML standards. There are 70 individuals in the entire group; the AML Analyst will be joining a group of approximately 12 people. The work is very fast-paced and very important for the bank. The screen and test time is quite intensive; you will be reading through customer profiles and documentation on a daily basis. There is a standard two-week program for onboarding that you will be a part of.

About the Opportunity

• Process alerts that are generated in their system
• Collect customer documentation
• Send customer documentation for review
• Possibly conducting enhanced customer due diligence reviews

About You

• 1-2 years of experience working within a Financial Services environment
• 1 year of hands-on experience within AML
• Advanced Excel experience (Pivot tables, v lookups, sorting, filtering)
• NORKOM experience is an asset
• College/university education in a related field e.g. financial crime/analysis program
• Completion of, or working toward CAMS certification

Pay Range
$22-$24/hour
